
Employment services in the municipalities
In Päijät-Häme, some of the municipalities organize their own employment services, independent of the work of the authorities. The employment services organized by the municipalities are intended for residents of the municipalities and in some cases for employers.

Asikkala
The goal Asikkala Employment and Integration Services is to improve the employment situation in the area together with other parties. The Employment and Integration Services provide guidance and coaching to job seekers from Asikkala and support employers in finding suitable employees for the needs of their companies.

Hartola
The employment coordinator of the municipality of Hartola will help you with any problems related to your job search. The employment coordinator works in cooperation with Päijät-Häme Employment Services and other local parties.

Heinola
The Employment Services of the city of Heinola and the Torppa Workshop are responsible for the city’s employment management activities and for working in partnership with the Päijät-Häme Employment Services.
The goal is to support job seekers and employers in the area and help them meet each other. We also help job seekers with questions related to their work ability and in building educational paths.

Hollola
The Employment Services of the municipality of Hollola provide employment-promoting services to the employment authority and, if necessary, also to persons outside the workforce. Through coaching services, job seekers are oriented towards the open labor market through work. The customers’ goal-oriented path may also include training. The employment services also carry out work and functional capacity assessments and proactive work capacity services.
The Employment and Integration services of the municipality of Hollola also serve employers with various advisory and coaching services.
The Integration Services of the municipality of Hollola serve all those who integrate in various integration-related issues, operating within an extensive integration network.

Iitti
The Employment Services of the municipality of Iitti are voluntary services offered to job seekers and employers in their own municipality. These services support and supplement official services and provide additional support to the residents of their own municipality. The municipal Employment Services work in cooperation with the authorities of the employment area through peer-to-peer working.

Kärkölä
The Employment Services of the municipality of Kärkölä for 2025 are being built. The goal of the activities is to improve the employment situation in the area together with other actors – always with the customer in mind.

Orimattila
Orimattila’s employment services are part of the Lahti region’s municipal employment experiment until December 31, 2024.

Padasjoki
The Padaspaletti employment unit serves job seekers and employers from Padasjoki.

Sysmä
An Employment and Vitality unit is currently being prepared in Sysmä. The unit will be assembled from experts from different sectors, with the aim of supporting the services provided by the employment authority and increasing the vitality and availability of labor in the region. The new service structure is expected to be completed in early 2025.
